Wadah Khanfar, director general of the Al-Jazeera network, announced Burman’s appointment as managing editor on Wednesday. There’s the lefty Media Bias again, heres hoping he ends up with a fatwah. Or Al Battar gets him. When I received word that Tony Burman, the former head of CBC News, was moving over to Al Jazeera, I thought it was a spoof. Alas, I’m wrong. Burman follows Avi Lewis to the jihadist propaganda arm. I wonder how much back-pay they’ll get? http://ezralevant.com/2008/

If you have ever heard of the name William McGonagall, I would probably wager that it was in a negative sense. Nearly every news clipping I have read of this famous (or perhaps infamous) Dundee poet has been to slate the quality of his works. I have heard him named “Dundee’s worst bard” and in serious condemnation “Scotland’s worst poet”.
